Healthcare Industry Veteran Brings Over a Decade of Business Development Experience and Entrepreneurial Acumen to the Peer-Based Community Health Organization
Redwood City, California, December 7, 2023 – Wider Circle, a peer-based community health organization working with payers and providers to connect neighbors for better health, today announced the appointment of Brett Zelkind as the company’s chief strategy officer. In this role he will be responsible for driving the company’s growth trajectory while also cultivating strategic partnership with health plans and providers that support Medicare and Medicaid members across the country.
Brett joins Wider Circle from andros where, as chief strategy officer, he drove the company’s business development efforts while leading multiple funding rounds, leading M&A activity, overseeing acquisition integration, and supporting efforts to move the company’s product from a solution to a full platform offering. Previously in his career he held management positions at WellCare Health Plans, and business advisory firms WeiserMazars and Marwood Group. Brett has an MBA from the University of Delaware and a BA from the University at Buffalo.
