Seeking to spark innovation in healthcare and scale up promising models to benefit patients, 36 Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies have invested in emerging healthcare companies like Wider Circle through the Blue Venture Fund. In a new post, BCBS Progress Health recognizes Wider Circle for its community contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, the organization has already delivered over 80,000 meals, conducted 75,000 health check-ins and hosted more than 30,000 social support calls– all of which have helped to stem the rampant anxiety and depression caused by the pandemic.
